Hörbot

Hörbot is a simple audio player mimicking the brilliant Hörbert music player for kids. Got a Hörbert, but need a less bulky option for your travels? Install this app on an old Android handset you should have recycled years ago, put some music or audio plays on your phone, and off you go. While it won’t match the haptic experience, your 3 years old will easily be able to play their favourite songs.

Setup

Create a folder with subfolders 0 to 8 (those will be mapped to the buttons) and copy your audio files into those folders. When you start Hörbot for the first time, you will need to select that folder, Hörbot will then play its contents when the corresponding button is pressed.
